One of the most gratifying things about what we do is hearing back from satisfied customers!
To be completely transparent for a second… Running a business is a lot more difficult than most people think. If I could spend all of my time performing, that would be great! That’s not the way things work though.

I look at my phone. The call timer shows eight seconds. I’ve never spoken to this guy in my life. It’s the first time I’ve called him.
Whoa.
This is going to be interesting.
A while back I met an agent. The first thing he asked was if our act was clean. He was very concerned.
He once lost a major corporate client because of this after hiring a well known comedian.
I’m not dropping the name because I can’t verify the story personally. I believe it’s probably true, but I’d rather error on the side of caution.
My agent promised the client a clean act. Before booking, he reiterated this point to the performer several times.
The comedian started out clean. Then he started feeling his audience out. He dropped a blue punch line…

According to Dr. Paul Witt public speaking is the number one fear reported by people in the United States. Even above death!
I disagree with that. I’m reasonably sure that if a gun was held to your head your inner orator would come to life! Suddenly you’d find all kinds of things to say to the crowd!
Still, public speaking is hard! Even those who stand in front of audiences for a living sometimes struggle with it. You ask yourself…

We’re gearing up for Christmas too. This is busiest time of year. Our schedule is filled with private and corporate parties. I keep sending letters to Santa requesting elves for backup but he hasn’t been cooperative…
